This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.primeinvestor.in (the “Site” or “our website”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card and/or debit card numbers) email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” Apart from these, we may also collect personal/demographic information about you such as age, occupation, date of birth, income level, and place of residence. We refer to this information as “Demographic information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information, Demographic information, and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
As a general rule, we will not make the personal information gathered using our products and services available to anyone outside of the PrimeInvestor Financial Research Pvt. Ltd. group of companies — except as instructed by you or where required or permitted by law. Please note, however, that there are several exceptions to this policy. First, if we use third party service providers, these service providers may have access to your personal information to perform contractually specified services on our behalf. Secondly, if you indicate that you are interested in receiving information about a particular third party’s products/services, or you opt to receive certain products or services through us, we may provide your personal information to that third party for purposes of fulfilling your request(s). With respect to service providers, PrimeInvestor Financial Research Pvt. Ltd. contractually requires that all personal information be kept confidential. Additionally, PrimeInvestor Financial Research Pvt. Ltd. take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties receiving information about you at your request maintain the confidentiality of that information.
We collect, store, and process your personal information so we can administer your subscription to our products and services. We may also use your personal information to send you information about other products and services offered by PrimeInvestor Financial Research Pvt. Ltd. .

PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We put reasonable security measures in place to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information. These measures include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
We operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided.
USE OF COOKIES
A cookie is a small file which can be downloaded on a device when you access our website and is then sent back to our website each time you access our website. Cookies are useful because they allow us to recognize your device and your user preferences. We use cookies to set users’ preferences, gather basic tracking information (such as login and password), date, time of visit and preferences, and monitor the presentation of our site. This information allows us to personalize the user experience and to improve the quality of our site navigation.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time by distributing and/or posting a new privacy policy without notice. We encourage you to review our privacy policy on a regular basis so that you will be aware of any changes to it.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
YOUR RIGHTS
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
THE PRIMEINVESTOR MOBILE APP
This section applies when you use the PrimeInvestor app for iOS or Android, in addition to the rest of this policy.
Account and portfolio data. You sign in with the mobile number or email address registered with PrimeInvestor, using a one-time code. The app shows your portfolio, holdings, transactions and reports by retrieving them from our servers over an encrypted connection.
Linking your investments. To import your mutual funds, you give your PAN and mobile number, which we send to MF Central to fetch your folios. To link a broker, you sign in with your broker through smallcase; that access is read-only, and we cannot place trades or move money. You may instead upload a spreadsheet of your holdings. We use this data only to show and review your portfolio.
Profile photo and support messages. If you upload a profile photo, we store it with your account. If you send a support message, we receive your name, email, message and account status so we can reply.
Files you download. Reports and exports you download are saved on your device. We do not keep a copy of the file.
Biometric unlock. You may choose to unlock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or your device's fingerprint. The check is performed entirely by your device's operating system. PrimeInvestor never receives, stores or has access to your biometric data.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, your device gives the app a delivery token, which we store with your account so we can send you alerts about your portfolio and account. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings, and we then stop sending notifications to that device.
Usage data. The app can collect usage data to help us understand which features are used and where people get stuck. This is off by default and is collected only if you turn on “Share usage data” in the Account tab. When it is on, we record which screens you open and a small set of actions, such as signing in, linking or refreshing a portfolio, running a fund review, opening an article, requesting a call, or sending a support message. We record these with an internal account identifier, not your name, mobile number or email, so repeat use on one device is not counted as many people. We do not collect your holdings, PAN, mobile number, email address, investment amounts, scheme or ISIN codes, broker names, or anything you type into a form. This data is processed by Google Analytics for Firebase and may be stored outside India. Turning “Share usage data” off stops collection from that point; to have data already collected deleted, contact us at the address below.
Deleting your data. You may ask us to delete your account and the data the app holds about you, from “Delete account” in the app’s Account tab or by writing to us at the address below. Our team reviews each request and will contact you to confirm before anything is deleted. When the deletion is completed, we will also delete your notification token and any usage data linked to your account.
